About Riya Mattoos

Riya Mattoos is a forensic science graduate, applied psychologist, author, and model whose work spans scientific research, psychological inquiry, and creative expression. Her academic training and narrative sensitivity allow her to explore complex human experiences—trauma, identity, cognition, and emotional survival—through both scientific and artistic lenses.

Born and raised in the UAE, she completed her B.Sc. in Forensic Science and M.Sc. in Applied Psychology at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai, following her schooling at Emirates National School, Sharjah. Her interdisciplinary path reflects a deep commitment to understanding the mind and translating that understanding into meaningful research, writing, and public engagement.

Riya also works as a digital creator, producing freelance modeling content and visual storytelling projects.
